Small Group Discussion
  • Discuss the quotation Implicit in the sacrament
of baptism, now as much as then, is hope.
Christian hope is focused on the promise of good
things in the present life and in the life to
    come.
  • In what ways do we exercise our baptismal
    responsibility to build community?

7
Action Points
  • Reach out this week to someone who is suffering
and show them the strength of community.
  • Find a photograph of your own baptism and display
it where you will occasionally see and reflect on
    it.
  • Pondering on the 10 Commandments (Deuteronomy
56-21) and the Beatitudes (Matt. 53-12) think
seriously about Gods mercy and your life. Ask
forgiveness from Jesus. Plan to attend the
    Sacrament of Penance soon.
  • As forgiven people we are call upon to reach out
to others with compassion and mercy. During the
coming days make deliberate attempts to be a
person who forgives and calls people into life.
