Hours For a Secondary

    a week.
  • A few students work 10 hours a week in a
    secondary position.
  • Zero-to-five hour contracts for secondary
    positions are also available.

Zero-to-Five Contracts
  • These are typically used for jobs that are
intermittent and do not regularly demand 5 hours
    of work each week.
  • Some examples include
  • Convocation Ushering
  • Intramural Sports Officiating
  • Hosting Prospective Students
  • Note These example are not indicative of all
    the zero-to-five jobs.

Secondary Cautions
  • A primary position should always have priority
    over a secondary position.
  • Secondary hours do not count toward the minimum
140 hour requirement for a term.

6
Secondary Status Forms
  • A secondary status form can be picked up from the
Student Payroll Office after a primary status
    form has been completed.
  • A secondary status form must be signed by the
    primary and the secondary supervisor.

7
  • Secondary supervisors must fill in the position
code, hours, grade, and department code number.
