Ron Eakes, an established businessman, motivates
and inspires a great number of people to be
successful in life. He owns the Mid Plains
Construction Company in Plains which has over 70
employees, and offers many construction services
like concrete install, concrete construction,
curing concrete, concrete forming, general
construction, concrete ready mix sales, and
advanced concrete construction. The company has
built dairies, buildings for agricultural
purposes, churches, schools, silos, hospitals,
handicap ramps, parking lots, driveways, etc. He
also has partnership in two big dairies.

Apart from being a renowned businessman, Ron
Eakes involves himself in various social
activities. He spends a lot of time raising funds
for social causes and helping charities. He is
associated with numerous reputed non-government
organizations that include Knights of Columbus,
Children's Miracle Network, County Economic
Organization, Kansas peace officers, Save The
Children, Kansas peace officers, and more. Save
The Children is an independent organization that
strives to bring change in the lives of children
in the country and around. The organization
supports children and families, especially during
disasters, by offering medical care, food, and
education to them. Not just this, the
organization also helps in rebuilding
communities. Ron donates regularly for the
functioning of the organization, and provides his
services as a volunteer. Save The Children also
shields children from abuse, neglect, violence,
and exploitation.

Ron Eakes also contributes to the Special
Olympics and American Cancer Society. Special
Olympics is the biggest sports organization in
the world that works for adults and children with
intellectual disabilities. The organization
offers trainings and organizes competitions for
athletes. The American Cancer Society fights
against Cancer and makes people aware about the
prevention and treatment of Cancer.

Ron Eakes was born and brought up in Kansas
state, and resided there with his six other
siblings in a farm house. He completed his junior
education in 1977 from the South Western Heights
School in Kansas and after finishing his
schooling, he enrolled at Dodge City Community
College in Kansas. In 1979, he passed out of the
college and in that same year, he started his own
business. He also attended Dale Carnegie Course,
which is an extensive course designed by Dale
Breckenridge Carnegie for the improvement of
personality and skills of a person.
