• Haryana has got bad name because of reducing
  female gender ratio. As per 2011 data, female
  gender ratio in Haryana is 879 per 1000 male,
  which is beneath countrywide average of 940. The
  bad effect of dowry arrangement and the desire to
  keep ancestors lineage active is so colossal that
  female child is treated as a burden in India and
  further more in Haryana. In Haryana, birth of a
  female child is still not cherished by all the
  segments of the general public. Female is
  considered as a liability on the family unit.
  This has resulted to jump in female feticide to a
  shocking rate in Haryana. The condition is not
  very positive and requires radical rectification.

• Women rights and empowerment is in a bad state.
  In rural areas, women are still considered as an
  item of use. The concept of respect and dignity
  for women is still not appreciated by all
  citizens of Haryana. Many schemes and initiatives
  for women empowerment are being run by the
  Haryana government but they are not making the
  right impact.

  interconnected and can be resolved by girl
  schooling. If girls are given an opportunity to
  study and become self sustainable then all these
  issues can be handled. Education is a major asset
  for any person. Education helps an individual to
  become knowledgeable. Knowledge helps a person in
  judging the society, makes him awake about the
  current events in his vicinity, gives self-belief
  and more prominently allows him to have a source
  of revenue.

• In all his interactions and gathering, Mr. Sharma
  has been demanding for the women empowerment in
  the state, and empowerment can take place only
  via education. Mr. Sharma has been asking for
  starting government run schools in every villages
  of Haryana. He has given idea of a Kanya
  Vidhyalya in every five square kilometer of the
  state.

• Venod Sharma is a firm believer that if we open
  girls schools in every neighborhood then the
  chances of girls going to school and pursuing
  their regular education becomes very high. He
  wishes that Haryana govt. should give monetary
  rewards to girl students and girls should be
  provided with free school stationeries and
  dressings. Fees allowance can be provided to
  girls in schools and colleges. All these minute
  efforts will contribute in a big way in female
  development in the state.
