An attorney by trade, Amy M. Lavine left her
position as a staff attorney at Albany Law School
in 2011 in order to open Sketch Art Supplies.
Located in Hudson, New York, Sketch Art Supplies
carries professional and student grade art
materials for the local community. In 2012,
Lavine added her own line of fine art postcards
and greeting cards to the store's shelves.

Amy M. Lavine is a New York attorney who served
as a staff attorney at the Government Law Center
at Albany Law School from 2007 to 2012. During
her time at Albany Law, Lavine wrote dozens of
legal publications, including online blog posts,
law review articles, and book chapters. Lavine
also spoke at numerous events across the country,
and she also provided pro bono legal counsel to a
