ABOUT INDIAN COAST GUARD DEPARTMENT
Indian Coast Guard formally established on 18th
August 1978 by the Coast Guard Act, 1978 of the
Parliament of India as an Independent Armed force
of India. It protects offshore terminals,
artificial islands, and other installations . It
also protects and assist to fishermen and
mariners at sea.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Educational Qualification
• Assistant Commandant General Duty (Male/Pilot)
  Bachelors Degree with minimum 60 marks in
  aggregate.
• Assistant Commandant General Duty Pilot (CPL)
  12th class pass with 60 marks and must hold
  current/valid Commercial Pilot License.
• Age Limit
• Assistant Commandant General Duty (Male) 01 Jul
  1993 to 30 Jun 1997
• Assistant Commandant General Duty (Pilot) 01 Jul
  1993 to 30 Jun 1999
• Assistant Commandant General Duty Pilot (CPL) 01
