manners remain consistent. Here are a few

Pick up the napkin remove the napkin ring

When dining in a restaurant, you should pick up
the napkin and unfold it discreetly as soon as
you sit down. Do not fling the napkin open in a
hurried manner. If there is a napkin ring, remove
it and place it to the left of your plate.

Place the napkin evenly across your lap
The napkin should be unfolded and placed on your
lap with elegance and grace. To place a napkin on
your lap, simply open it completely. If the
napkin is large you can fold it in half and place
on your lap.

Use the napkin to discreetly blot your mouth
during meal
During meals, you should use the napkin to pat
your lips, not wipe or rub them. If you drink
anything, make sure that you pat your lips before.

your chair if you get up
You can place the napkin on the chair or place it
