  • Scientific Mission
  • The NIDA International Program fosters
    research to take advantage of special or unique
    opportunities to advance scientific knowledge on
    drug abuse and addiction. Such special
    opportunities may include the use of unusual
    talent, resources, populations, or environmental
    conditions in other countries that are not
    readily available in the United States or that
    augment existing U.S. resources.
