Reading Club Philosophy
What is the Reading Club all about?

• The reading Club is one of the Nurture and
  Outreach Projects of Battle Cry
• Ministry and was established to help members of
  the Church to grow
• spiritually strong and to also reach out to
  others to encourage them to accept
• Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour and to
  lead them to right living. The
• philosophy behind the Reading Club is that
  members will borrow, read
• and then lend books as a means of witnessing to
  others. Members of the
• Reading Club will contribute money to the Club in
  order that books can be
• replaced if lost, worn or defaced and to buy new
  books to enrich the stock of
• books for the club. Both the original stock of
  books and new books
• purchased will be the property of Battle Cry
  Ministry.

Synopsis of Spring Village SDA Branch
Reading Club Information

• The Battle Cry Ministrys reading club started in
  June 2001 and is currently doing relatively well
  in edifying and spiritually uplifting its members
  compared to last year. To date we have a
  burgeoning membership of young Christians, adults
  and children alike that are actively involved in
  outreach programs through our inventory of books.
  It should be noted however that our members
  interest have begun to wane and dues are
  virtually non-existent but there are still a few
  faithful ones. Notwithstanding we are still
  committed to spreading the wonderful news of
  salvation to the many wandering souls of our
  fellowmen, and not only that but we are zealous
  in our mission and vision to set aright any
  doctrinal teachings that is contrary to Gods
  holy word.

Reading Club Information

• The reading club has blessed many persons
  directly and indirectly and we have had many
  well-wishers as well as occasional contributors.
  It is our hope that through this aspect of the
  ministry we will win at least one / countless
  souls for Christ and seek to sound the Battle Cry
  as we draw nigh to the end of time.
• Note Through the activities of the Club so far,
  three persons have been baptized and many others
  strengthened in the faith and assisted in their
  decision for Christ. Praise the Lord! You might
  consider establishing a Reading Club in your
  church! God Bless!
