As seen on BBC3As heard on Steve Lamacq (BBC 6
Music!) Channel 4!
Kitsch, cool, and full of character, the Disco
Shed was conceived in a moment of garden party
madness by club promoters and long time festival
goers Peepshow Paddy and Aidan Count Skylarkin.
Taking inspiration from their actual shed, in
which theyd enjoyed one too many parties for
their neighbours liking, they set about
converting an ordinary 8 x 6 ft Billy O garden
shed into the must-have accessory for any
self-respecting festival the Disco
Shed!Completely mobile and needing only a power
source, the Disco Shed takes the best elements of
modern clubbing but disguises it amongst all the
stuff youd find in your Dads old shed, to make
a truly unique entertainment space and novel
curiosity, guaranteed to intrigue interest,
amuse amaze at all times.By day, chill out
and enjoy the good-time garden party vibe, with
classic garden games, and Jane Fonda workouts.
Then dance the night away to top quality DJ sets,
with a full light show and live visuals on the
shed's giant rooftop screen. The Disco Shed is a
unique, adaptable, ready-to-go self-contained
performance area, with the personnel on hand to
rock your festival. We can also work with you to
accommodate artists of your choice.

PRESS TV and printed press The Disco Shed has
been featured on BBC3s coverage of the Reading
Festival in 2007, Channel 4s coverage of both
the Truck festival in 2006, and the Big Chill
festival in 2006. Our popular club nights and New
Year's Eve parties at the Carling Academy Oxford,
and the Old Queen's Head in Islington, with DJ
Derek, Barry Ashworth (Dub Pistols), have been
listed as featured night in the London Lite, and
Critics Choice in Time Out. We have also been
featured in the Irish Sun, the Oxford Times and
the Oxford Mail.
Press quotes Hats must be raised first to Aidan
(Skylarkin') and Paddy (Peepshow)'s ingenious
Disco Shed, in the market area allweekend. Like a
more inclusive outdoor Miniscule of Sound, the
'disco shed' puts in an impressive tour of duty
keeping a happy crowd dancing and raising smiles
from camping passers-by for the majority of the
weekend, with sets of almost Tenaglian length
from both DJs. Waiting for the toilet to the
sound of Josh Wink's 'Higher State of
Consciousness' may not help the bladder, but it
certainly helps the festival atmosphere.

And then there was the Disco Shed. It will be a
thing of legend, Im sure one shed, two blokes,
mixing decks and a glittery disco ball. There
were plant pots and garden gnomes, all on a
little hill where countless people danced well
into the night. It was truly magical how good
that little shed and the music emanating from it
made everyone feel. godisinthetvzine.co.uk
One of the less chilled things happening at the
Big Chill festival in the UK this weekend was the
Disco Shed. Pitched up in the middle of the site
by Oxford based DJ's Peepshow Paddy and
Skylarkin. They entertained people with low key
DJ sets during the day supplying deckchairs, a
gazebo and lo-fi TV/video players with Jane Fonda
work-out videos for mass aerobic sessions. When
the club tents and stages closed down on the last
night, all those who just didn't want to believe
the festival was about to end migrated to the
shed for an impromptu rave, cut short only for
security reasons. You can give people well
organized festivals but it's this kind of magic
that will stick. www.mtv.com
TESTIMONIALS Paying Punters Loved it,
particularly so on Sunday night. Didn't want it
to end. The Shed was outstanding! I put you
guys at the top of my "favourites" list on the
Online Survey. Set of the weekend Sunday night
at The Disco Shed. The encore at the end of the
disco shed/paddy's set on sunday night was pretty
incredible. Massive crowd spontaneously chanting
'ONE MORE TUNE, ONE MORE TUNE'. twas a proper
'moment', that -)
DJs Mixmaster Morris (Ninja Tune) "I had loads of
fun on Sunday, probably played better than in the
club tent as well!"
Phantom Beats (Plastic Raygun) "We've DJed from
Tokyo to Miami, and Budapest to Brisbane, but I
can't remember ever having such unique DJ
experiences with more fun crowds than at the
Disco Shed."
