Our Mission
  • Aspiring Athletes was founded with the vision to
provide baseball/softball players in Ohio with
the education of baseball/softball and life
skills necessary to achieve their athletic
dreams. The passion for instruction and
development of each and every player Aspiring
Athletes works with, is unmatched. Aspiring
Athletes programs look to expand and adapt to
the everchanging game of baseball/softball to
provide a second to none experience for the
teams, players, and communities involved with our
    organization.

2009-2010 Season
  • Our Elite Club Travel Teams
  • Please view each teams respective brochure to
see which program is the best fit for you!

4
The Aspiring Athletes Difference
  • Our Baseball/Softball programs are built around
the idea that your abilities define your career
and baseball opportunities that may present
themselves down the road. We feel that high
school and college coaches are in search of
players who have sound fundamentals and proper
arm, foot, and bat speed to play at their
respective levels. These skills and fundamentals
are achieved through instruction which we provide
to all age levels. Regardless as to the ability
of the player we can guarantee to develop the
    athletes sense of Responsibility Accountability
and Character. The tools we teach arent just
baseball/softball tools, but life skills as well.
Lastly, we will prepare players to not just play
in college but to be successful student athletes
at the college level, and beyond.

Westside
  • The Ohio Orioles have been in existence since
2004, which is when they fielded their very first
team. In just a few short years the Orioles have
grown from one team to over twelve teams going in
to the 2008-2009 Season. Their success is in the
professional staff and the emphasis on dedication
to player development within the program. The
Orioles are based out of the Westside of the
Greater Cleveland area. To view more information
on this program click on the brochure!

6
Eastside
  • Spreading the mission even further the Great
Lakes Giants program began in 2008 when they
fielded their very first team. The Giants follow
the same program and expectations as the Orioles.
We expect a large increase in the participants
for the Giants program this year. There is
nothing like the Giants program offered to
aspiring baseball players on the Eastside. Teams
that play for the Giants are based out of the
Eastside of the Greater Cleveland area. For more
information on the Giants baseball program click
    on the brochure!

softball
  • Aspiring Athletes will begin their softball
program for the first time in the 2009-2010
season! After noticing a lack of options in the
market for aspiring softball players, we are
creating a truly unique approach to the college
    recruiting process. Our innovative development
program will truly take your skills to the next
level in order to achieve college level play. We
will be implementing the same principles behind
the softball program that has made our baseball
programs so successful. Please view the brochure
    for further details.

fall leagues in the Fall of 2009. This league is
for players who are looking for more than the
usual fall ball players will be instructed by
past and current professionals to continue
improvement in all the crucial areas of
baseball/softball in the off-season. There are
two separate locations where we will be hosting
these leagues so pick the one most convenient for
    you!Contact information and registration is
    included within the brochures.

TPF
  • The Prospect Finder helps college-bound athletes
and parents get their athlete prepared for
college by providing them a central location to
gather and learn about the recruiting process as
well as the provide video and data which college
coaches can learn about your athlete. Every
athlete apart of our program gets a professional
evaluation as well as a video on the website.
College coaches from all over are then invited to
view the footage online to insure maximum
    exposure.
  • Please visit the website at www.theprospectfinder.

Testimonials from our clients
  • Just wanted to let you know that Taylor found
out yesterday he made the freshman baseball team
at St Ignatius.  They started out with over 80
kids trying out for the team.  Taylor is
obviously thrilled and very proud to have made
the team.  The training, advice, guidance, etc he
has received in a relatively short time with the
Orioles certainly helped him achieve this goal.
Thanks to you and your staff for all the hard
work you put in with the players.  It is evident
that you are dedicated to making them the best
baseball players and young men they can be
  • -Chris Wolf Father of Taylor Wolf of the Ohio
    Orioles 16u Grey 2008-2009 Season
  • Thanks for your help (you and your staff) with
Zach and all the players.  Having strong role
models like yourself and your staff members is
something they all need.  Thanks for the seminar
on metal awareness as well.  We received great
information which we'll put to use.
  • -Tim Jones Father of Zach Jones of the Ohio
    Orioles 18u Gold 2008-2009 Season

    you enough
  • -Shelly Grattan Mother of Paul Grattan of the

  • -John Thutt Father of Mike Thutt of the Ohio
    Orioles 15u 2008-2009 Season
  • It is refreshing to be part of an organization
that truly cares about the kids.  I know Coach
Thamann is expecting a lot out of Ryan this
spring and felt that yourself and the Orioles
organization will give him the best opportunity
to succeed at both the HS level and beyond.
  • -Rick Morris Father of Ryan Morris of the Ohio
    Orioles 18u Black 2008-2009 Season
  • Just wanted to let you know that Anthony had a
great season with the Strongsville Mustangs
Freshman team. I attribute that to the training
over the last two years that he has received from
you and your organization. Never have I seen
Anthony so excited to play baseball and he is
really looking forward to the upcoming Orioles
season.  Not only that, the friends he has made
over the past year with this Orioles team is
    amazing.
  • -Chris Maurer Mother of Anthony Maurer of the
Ohio Orioles 15u Black 2007-2008 Season
  • I was at all but one of the practice sessions
this year and was again impressed with the
Orioles winter program.  The effort placed into
organizing the practices is obvious and I do
believe my son has continued to grow as a player
through the leadership provided by you and your
coaching staff. David loves being part of the
    Orioles organization probably the best
    endorsement we could give.
  • Jim Bodziony Father of David Bodziony of the Ohio
