Looking forward Town Planning
  • The next major steps in the program are as
    follows
  • Preparation of Town Planning Documentation
    includes
  • - Traffic Management assessment and report
  • - Detail feature and level survey
  • - Geotechnical survey and report
  • - Plans and elevations
  • The major input will be from Architect and Town
    Planning Consultants with specific input from
    specialist consultants
  • The application will require a notice period and
    public display

Looking forward (contd)
  • Financial approval The financial approval from
    the CEO needs to be secured
  • VCAT Application Assuming that there are
    objections to the submission to Council, the
    likelihood is that the application will be
    referred to VCAT for approval.
  • Detailed design Final selection of design
    consultants will be completed. Once the outcome
    of the planning process is known, the design will
    progress to the detailed stage. This involves all
    disciplines. The design will be developed to 80
    90 for tender.

Construction
  • The construction activities have been identified
    as two separate major components- Presbytery
    early works and School construction
  • Presbytery early Works this must be completed
    prior to the school construction. It is envisaged
    that this is not undertaken by the school
    builder. Scope outline
  • School Construction the construction will
    commence after the review and analysis of the
    tender. The assessment will include things such
    as price, experience, program, risk, OH and S
    management and the like. It is expected that the
    construction will take approx. 10 months.
