  • On November 18, 1806, Leo Lesquereux was born in
    Fleurier, Switzerland.
  • As a childhood, he love nature such as mountains,

  • At the age of seven, from the top of a mountain
    (Lesquereux Cliff), he fell and that caused him
    to become deaf.

    founders of fossil botany in North America.
