    processes and to prepare USDA for the new
    Financial Management System
  • Integrated RMA program data into FFIS, thus
    eliminating RMA financial statements production
    out of multiple sources
  • Integrated Motorpool and Federal Telephone
    Systems Payments into FFIS, thus eliminating two
    feeder systems and providing enhanced
    streamlining and accuracy for these IPAC
    transactions
  • Integrated Type 60 proceesing in FFIS, thus
    eliminating this funciton in PRCH so that PRCH
    can be retired
  • Integrating FNS and FSA/CCC program data into the
    FSDW, which will result in a single source for
    financial statements and external reporting

  • Implementing the modernized FDWs, thus enhancing
    performance and reliability
  • Implemented the 6653/4/5 processing into ACRWS

    Property Automated Information System, thus
    eliminating two more feeders, PROP and EMIS, and
    providing a compliant, modern approach to the
    portfolio management of personal property
    throughout USDA production out of multiple
    sources
  • Complete implementing the eTravel PMA egovernment
    program, which will replace one feeder system,
    GVTS and the TDY/Local travel in TRVL
  • Evaluate Financial Management Modernization
    Initiative proposals, perform OCD/LTD and award
    contract
  • Pilot relocation services through Center of
    Excellence provider, Bureau of Public Debt to
    evaluate this approach
  • Review approach for other feeders which do not
    perform core financial processing and will not be
    used in the new Financial Management
    Modernization Initiative
