Data Recovery Assessments
  • What is the cost to the office for each hour that
    a data source is unavailable?
  • Considerations include lost productivity, lost
    revenue, and lost customer/patient information.
  • What is the impact if data is lost permanently?
  • In the event of a systems failure, how many
transactions could the office afford to lose?
(This would determine how frequently backups must
    be preformed)
  • What is the backup window?
  • How much managers time is allocated for backup
    activities?
  • Is there a requirement to store copied data
    off-site?

10
Data Recovery Assessments
  • Is workstation-resident data protected by backup
    software?
  • Document configuration of the servers/workstations
. Include make/model, number of processors,
operating system and level, and a list of
    applications hosted by each system.
  • What would be the cost to the office if this data
    were not recoverable?

11
Data Protection Solution
  • Implement Daily backup policy
  • Provide Automatic and Secure Protection
  • Restoration Retrieval of Data
  • Reduce the volume of Data to be Stored
  • Store documentation offsite.

12
Online Backup Recovery Service
  • Online backup and recovery is a solution to this
problem that is gaining market acceptance within
small and mid-sized businesses. Online backup and
recovery is the process of automatically moving
data over the network from its primary servers to
offsite storage located within a secured
electronic vault. This data is then available to
be restored either over the network or through
delivery of a network attached storage (NAS)
    device containing the recovered data.

13
Easy Backup of Data
  • Automatic backup of your computers information
  • Network recovery of files and entire servers can
be efficiently delivered from a simple web
    browser interface
  • Online backup and recovery is a completely
    automated, network delivered service that
requires no ongoing monitoring or management by
    internal IT staff.
  • Data can be restored immediately to either the
original server or an alternate server. Restores
can also be redirected to an alternate physical
location if the original office is no longer
    available.
  • Schedule full, incremental or differential backup
    procedures.
