Conclusions

• RMAN is still the best thing going for
  backup/recovery
• As the technology moves toward greater
  availability, RMANs functionality becomes more
  widely utilized
• As availability leads to higher degrees of
  complexity, RMANs managability features become a
  necessity, not a luxury
