Audience All Employees who meet with their
Managers once a quarter to discuss and adjust
performance goals. Overview After the Manager
holds the Quarterly Check-In with their
Employees, the Employee will be required to make
the appropriate updates to their Performance
document.
  • Update goals within each section by clicking the
    hyperlink at the top of the goal section (e.g.
    Update Operational Goals Criteria).
  • NOTE A message will pop up to confirm that you
    want to update your goals, click OK.
  • 5. To add a new goal, click Add Operational
    Goals. To edit an existing goal, click the
    Edit button. To delete an existing goal, click
    the Delete button.
  • 6. If you are creating a new goal give it a
    title.
  • The title should be concise summarize the goal.
  • 7. Write a detailed description of the goal you
    created in the description field or edit the
    description based on new responsibilities and the
    Quarterly Check-In. Link the goal to a Leadership
    Priority. Click Save to save your work. You
    will receive a confirmation that your save was
    successful, click OK.
  • Follow these steps to edit/update your Employee
    goals in
  • NYCAPS
  • Navigation Employee Self Service ? Performance
    Management ? Performance Documents
  • 1. Under Document Type select Performance
    Review under Author Type select Employee and
    click Refresh.
  • 2. To set new or edit goals click on your name,
    under the Author section, which should be a
    hyperlink.
  • NOTE While completing your goals, the Author
    Status shows as InProgress.
  • On the Maintain Performance Document page click
    on the arrow next to the particular goal or
    click on the Expand All Sections link to set
    new or update existing goals.
