Philosophy of Our Feeder Program
  • The philosophy of Knox JHS and The Woodlands
College Park is to promote students strengths in
key subject areas. To enable the best
    educational opportunities possible, it is
encouraged that students take at least 1 AP
course in high school so that they will be more
prepared for the rigors of college.

20
Junior High Pre-AP
  • We offer Pre-AP courses as an option for all
    students not just GT

What Pre-AP is NOT.

Is MY Student Capable of Taking These Courses?
  • If he/she is willing to put in the time and

Some excel in science, others in art. Theres a
place for both students. Capitalize on those
    strengths.

23
Pre-AP
  • Requires much independent study
  • Student needs to be a doer and a thinker

  • Work ethic
  • Desire
  • One Year Commitment
