• What is JKDDC? Joint Knowledge Development and
  Distribution Capability Joint Knowledge Online
  (JKO) is the enterprise portal for the JKDDC
  training transformation initiative managed by US
  Joint Forces Command, Joint Warfighting Center,
  in Suffolk, VA. Army JKDDC is managed by TRADOC.
  
• Because of the success of the Fires Knowledge
  Network at Fort Sill, FKN was selected to lead
  the Armys program for JKDDC.
• What we hope to provide 24/7, Globally
  accessible, web-based, support for the Field
  Artillerys Joint Warfighter by providing
  relevant and timely information for all Joint
  Fires related training.
• Fires JKDDC works closely with the Joint And
  Combined Integration (JACI) Directorates staff,
  which is the Commanding Generals proponent for
  all Joint fires and effects related issues,
  including the development, integration, and
  execution of all Joint instruction, training, and
  doctrine development at USAFAS and Fort Sill.

How to use the J-Fires Site..

• The J-Fires site has a wealth of
  information. In order to make it easy to
  navigate, a Navigation bar is positioned at the
  top and bottom of each page (see example below).

J-Fires Home Main point of entry This is where
the JACI Director places important issues that
concern the Joint Fires community. Course
Coaches This is where Joint course information
begins. There is a link to each of the individual
course pages. This page allows the user to
contact Course Instructors and other Subject
Matter Experts. Information Support Center It
is the Joint Library where the instructors post
course information. It also includes links to JKO
and the Fort Sill Reach-back Server both offer
online Courseware. It also links to Centers for
Lessons Learned. Website/Links Links to other
import Joint sites, DOD and Coalition Partners.
My Kit Bag is linked to My Files, This allows
the user to upload up to 50mb of information into
their personal files for future use. Help Desk
linked to Army Training Help Desk, ATHD and other
sources of help. Check out the J-Fires/AKO
TIPS located at the bottom of the page.

• The aim of the discussion forum is to discuss
  issues that affect the core business of the BCDs,
  share best practice and to make recommendations
  for future work.
