Memorial Run

• Members of the U.S. Air Force proudly
  carry the American and POWMIA flags for a
  six-hour continuous run from Des Moines, IA to
  Ames, IA. The run is held in honor and memory of
  American Prisoners of War (POW) and those still
  Missing in Action.

• Presentation of the colors at the Memorial Union
  at 1500

• Former Prisoner of War
• Works with the POWMIA recovery unit
• Memorial Union at 1615

Retreat Ceremony

• At the Central Campus flagpole
• Military ceremony for retiring the colors
• Taps, National Anthem
• Uniform Full Service Dress
• Ceremony carried out in formation
• Begins promptly at 1700
