INTRODUCTION Have you ever wondered why grown-ups
keep telling you to wash your hands before you
eat or after you use the restroom? It's because
germs make you squirm! They will do anything to
invade your body and make you sick. Germs aren't
all bad, though. We'll learn about good germs
too! We'll also explore ways to defend ourselves
against these pesky little critters.

  that germs can enter your body.
• You will be able to identify the three types of
  germs that attack people and some differences
  between them.
• You will be able to identify some ways your body
  works to keep germs from getting inside you.

  answer the question, "Do these bacteria help

  tell you when you need to wash your hands. You
  can even test your handwashing know-how!

  you can complete some sentences about germs by
  solving the secret codes!
