Are defined as agroup of synergistic projects
aiming at solving European wide problems.
Should ensure European added value, efficient
flow of information, sufficient critical mass,
support integrated approaches, and
dissemination/exploitation of the network.

Allowable Costs
  • Additional staff time
  • Use of permanent staff for academic organisations
    allowed now
  • Travel and Subsistence to meetings/workshops/confe
    rences etc.
  • Staff time - EU maximum contribution (say 375
    Euros/day plus 20 o/h which is the rate for
    technical evaluators)
  • Overheads - maximum 20
  • Funding / organisation - varies, but for an
    ordinary member this could be around
    8,000-18,000 Euros TS and 16,000 Euros for staff
    time for a 4-year network (to be checked and
    confirmed - this is based on recent successful
    proposals and depends on roles in tasks etc.)
