During his 46 long career Alexanderson became
one of the most prolific people in his company.
He even got 322 patents. He made inventions
like fields as railway electrification motors and
much more. Alexander's name will also begin
history for his efforts in T.V. He transmitted
the first facsimile message.

Carriers early work led to new safe refrigerators
which won him 7 patents. By controlling
humidity as well as temperature then he invented
air conditioning in houses today. This made the
world cooler in the summer so we dont get to
hot.

Willis Carrier was born near Angola,New York.
Willis attended Cornell University. He graduated
in 1901. A year later his air conditioning was
in operation. Carrier and other engineers
formed the Carrier engineering corporation in
1915.

1893 him and his brothers opened a store for
sales, manufacturing of bicycles. Him and his
brothers were good friends. The airplain he made

of his brothers. He also was a champ at riding
bicycles. He also built a factory.

  • Carver developed a crop rotation method. Farmers
    followed Carver's plan, they got great results.
    Carver developed 325 uses for peanuts from oil to
    ink. He discovered the pecan, soybean, pea, and
    sweet potato got the same results, so he
    experimented with those, also. Carver found
    about 20 uses for these from rubber to pavement
    for highways.
  • I think Carver's invention helped because we
    might not have gotten these things without him.

  • Carver was born as a slave in Diamond Grove,
    Missouri. He was a farm hand an studied in a one
    room school house. Carver was hoping for some
    sort of science career. Carver was always
    interested in plants and rocks. Upon his death,
    Carver gave all of his life savings to build a
    research institute. His birthplace was a
    national monument in 1953. During his life,
    Carver won only three patents, a science degree
    in bacterial botany and agriculture in 1897, and
    a Bachelor of Science degree in 1894.Carver had a
    lot of success with his inventions.
