Introduction to Web Time Entry
Old Dominion University implemented Banner Human
Resources in January 1999 to process payroll
transactions. The University is now pleased to
provide its employees with online services via
Employee Self Service. The new online process
will allow employees to enter hours worked and
leave taken through Old Dominion Universitys
Web Time Entry Process.
  • Entering Time on the Web allows you to perform
    the following tasks
  • Enter and submit hours worked on a web time
    sheet
  • Enter and submit leave hours taken
  • View leave balances

3
Banner Web Time Entry offers the following
advantages over our current payroll process
  • The ability to access your web time sheet at your
convenience, from any computer, with an internet
connection, at any time of any day!
  • The ability to check the status of your time
sheet throughout the payroll process by logging
    into Employee Self Service.
  • Increased accuracy as keyed data defaults into
Banner directly from the web time sheet.
  • Cost savings are realized through the elimination
of paper time sheets and LARFS, by providing the
self service approach to time entry.

exception time only (i.e., vacation or sick time)
and compensatory leave earned via web time entry.

time sheet for that pay period and enter no
leave taken in the comment section of the time
    sheet.
  • You must submit your web time sheet for approval
    each pay
