• Martin Luther King Jr. was born in Atlanta ,
  Georgia on January 15th in 1929.
• He couldnt go to a lot of restaurants.
• He couldnt go to many schools either.
• He couldnt do those things because he was black!

I Have a Dream

• Martin Luther King, Jr. made speeches.
• He made a special speech called I have a dream.
• He said I have a dream.
• It was on August 28, 1963.
• 250,000 people came.

Nobel Peace Prize

• Martin Luther King Jr.won the Nobel Peace Prize.
• He won it because he helped change the law.
• He was very famous.
• So he won it.
• He brought so much peace to country that is how
  he won.

Peace not Violence

• Martin Luther King Jr. fought with words not his
  fist. You could call that peace not violence.
• One thing he knew was hate cant drive out hate,
  only love can do that. He would never fight with
  his fist.
• That is how Martin became famous.

• The laws changed .
• Now black people could do anything they wanted.
• Now they could go to pools and golf courses.
• Now they could go to malls too.
• It was all because Martin Luther King Jr. helped
  change them.

He Died

• Martin Luther King Jr. got shot by a guy named
  James Earl Ray.
• It was a very sad fact for almost all American
  citizens.
• But it was a true fact.
• He was 39 when he died.
• He was buried in Atlanta Georgia.
