Open the Database

• With this lesson, we want to show you how to set
  a password on a database. Then, you will only be
  able to open the database if you supply the
  password.
• Click the Open button and select the Database to
  Open
• Dont open the database yet.

Open in Exclusive Mode

• Before we open the database, we have to open it
  in Exclusive Mode.
• Exclusive Mode means no one else can opened the
  database while you have it open.
• To select Exclusive Mode, click on the down arrow
  by the Open Button
• Select Open Exclusive

Select Database Password

• With the Database open, go to the Tools menu,
  select Security, and click on Set Database
  Password

Enter the Password

• Enter the password twice
• Click the OK button

Password Required

• Now, whenever you open the Database, it will
  require a password.
