Title: Bradford Libraries have been running RaW Book Chats short term reading groups for literacy students.
1Book Chats at Bradford
- Bradford Libraries have been running RaW Book
Chats - short term reading groups for literacy
students. - One group from Keighley College enjoyed the
experience so much that they now want to set up
their own reading group. The group read and
listened to a Quick Read together during the
course, and then wrote reviews which were posted
on the RaW website. - A tutor involved explained
- The plan now is that we will build the reading
group concept into part of the literacy class,
maybe 20 minutes at the beginning or end of the
session. At least half the group are reading
more.
