The Purposes of theTechnical Advisory Committee
are to
  • Advise on jurisdiction research and economic
    priorities
  • Assist in planning research areas that align with
    state priorities
  • Provide technical guidance to the states NASA
    EPSCoR program and
  • Review program progress and accomplishments.

Technical Advisory Committee consists of
  • the states NASA EPSCoR Program Director
    (Committee Chair)
  • at least one member of the states EPSCoR
    Committee
  • at least one representative from the states
    industry
  • at least one representative from the states
    government, and
  • one member from at least three affiliates of the
    states NASA Space Grant Program.

  • Assisted in the development of advanced sensors
    needed to monitor the structural health of
    spacecrafts such as the Crew Exploration Vehicle
    (CEV).
  • David Parsons, Auburn University
  • Assisted in establishing a distributed simulation
    of the integrated Crew Launch Vehicle (CLV) and
    Crew Exploration Vehicle (CEV).
