Project Results
Project Goals
  • Line
    Response
  • Without feedback protection Current
    Protection Included
  • Transient of
    designed LDO
  • Build a current-fold back circuit to protect the
    circuit from a high current.
  • Build a temperature protection circuit to turn
off the power supply to the LDO for high internal
    temperatures.
  • Adjust the output capacitor to make the circuit
    stable.
  • Program the micro-controller to control the
    circuit by using the
  • computer.

Project Overview
\
  • Application Circuit Diagram (Current fold-back
circuit , Micro Controller and Temperature
    protection circuit )
  • ATMEAG164-P/V MICROCONTROLLER
  • 8 MHz Operating Frequency (internal
    oscillator)
  • 5 interrupt-driven outputs to select a
    feedback resistor
  • USART Communication for
  • Resistor Selection

Project Conclusions/Outcomes
  • We add protection circuit in our designed.
Performance isnt effected for low current, but
output voltage is lower when the maximum current
    is reached.
  • The current stayed under the set current limit.
  • Output voltage can be selected from the computer
    keyboard.
  • Ts decreased from 520ns to 96ns and Vpp decreased
    from 200mV to 56mV.
