- Larry Burns
- LVMPD SWAT Lieutenant who has been employed for
21 years. - Larry developed the curriculum for The
Psychology of Survival which offers insight into
the most important tools for making sound choices
and surviving lifes challenging encounters. - Dedicated and Powerful Speaking Person.
- Larry lectures to various groups on the topics of
personal safety, illicit drug abuse, and the
esteem of youth. - Works with many organizations outside LVMPD.

- Bobby Kintzel Jr.
- NHP Trooper injured by a subject under the
influence of a controlled substance in April of
2001. - Was Given a 2 percent chance of survival.
- Bobbys message has inspired his audience to be
their best by relying on their own internal
strengths and demonstrates the power of personal
choice.

- Guest Speaker
- A volunteer or rotating guest speaker will be
allowed to participate in the instruction. - The guest will be able to bring the class down to
a personal level. Can be parents, adolescents or
victims. - Their experience or victimization will help
promote the class objectives. - It is possible that these speakers may come
forward from the class attendees and want to
participate in future classes. - Not only will this benefit the class, but it will
be therapeutic for the guest speakers
victimization.

- Class will last approximately 2 hours
- Will be comprised of Power Points, Videos and
Life Experiences. - Will be monitored by LVMPD Officers and DREs.

- Meeting rooms to start and eventually moved to
theatre if more seating is needed - Plenty of parking is available
