How can Technology Integration Increase Student
Learning in my Classroom ?The Research
  • No Computer Left Behind
  • --June 29, 2005
  • Findings
  • 1) First, increased and sustained professional
development opportunities should be afforded to
educators who are called on to increase the
effective use of technology for instructional
    purposes.
  • 2) Second, additional time (support) must be
allocated to the technology needs of educators.
Time is needed both to learn new technologies
themselves and to learn to integrate those
  • technologies in the classroom
  • 3) Third adequate technical assistance (support)
must be provided to support technology adoption
and that support must be timely
  • 4) Finally, a consistently strong predictor of
adoption and use of technology is attitude toward
    technology.
