support Knowledge Transfer (overview of the types
of initiatives, programmes used to support
knowledge transfer at a regional level, linkages
between regional strategies and knowledge
transfer initiatives run by others such as
universities ) - Meeting 2 Knowledge Transfer governance and
finance, (the role of PPPs, Research Foundations,
the appointment of relevant HR , the
participation of regional actors etc) - Meeting 3 Effective knowledge transfer
activities closer linkages SME/HEI and FORESIGHT
Method - Meeting 4 The role of EU and regional
networks in supporting cross border knowledge
transfer and the role played by specialised SME
Technology Centres -
- Meeting 5 A review of the key performance,
evaluation and monitoring tools used in the field
of knowledge transfer. Public and private
partners are required to increasingly demonstrate
the effectiveness of their activities (outputs,
indicators, results etc) and should therefore be
addressed in this Working Group - Final conference Plenary session meeting with
the other two IRE Working Groups. This will
enable Working Group members to share their
findings with the other members.
