CAMHS Review Recommendation 7
  • Reducing waiting times. Government should set
    out clear expectations and specifically promote
    approaches that have worked well in reducing
    waiting times
  • Government accepts this recommendation in
    principle.
  • Government has already commissioned good practice
    guidance in this area. Taking work in this area
    forward will be a priority area for the National
    Support Programme.
  • NCSS will support DH DCSF to publish 18 week
    waits guidance

    service transformation work can support CAMHS

    link to existing reporting/monitoring of waiting
    times and agree approach for CAMHS
