UCD - Approx. 10 places on the programme for
which typically there are over 100 applications
each year. Closing date is 10th February

placements for the 3 year course in St John of

Neuro-psychology

• Neuro-science involves clinical specialists
  trained in the assessment, management, treatment
  and needs of people with head injuries and other
  neurological disorders.

Psychotherapy

• The psychological treatment of a wide range of
  mental and physical issues by a number of
  different methods. Treatment is carried out with
  individual patients or clients usually via a long
  series of intimate discussions over some years
• Some psychologists train in Psychotherapy but it
  is not yet an accredited area
• There are many theoretical frameworks for
  treating a wide range of mental/emotional and
  sometimes physical conditions e.g. Freudian,
  Gestalt, Jungian etc.
