    the Legislative Assembly as a Gender Responsive
    Budget.

    Equidad de Género Ciudadanía, Trabajo y Familia,
    began to carry out analysis and formulation of
    gender budgets.

    a network of gender agents in every Mexico City
    public institutions

  • The Ministry of Finance create a position
    especially for the task. The aim was to provide
    consultation to all departments regarding their
    budget proposals.
  • Equidad de Género worked very closely with the
    Ministry in the review of proposals and in the
    design of tools so that they could carry out this
    review

    the topic

    preparation of budgets to include gender issues

    Ministry of Finance in the development of a new
    manual and formats for presenting the budgets and
