Academic Issues
  • Academic Appeals
  • Course
  • The responsibility for academic evaluations of
students rests with the faculty. If a student
feels he or she has received a prejudiced or
capricious evaluation by an instructor, and if he
or she is unable to resolve the matter in
conference with the instructor or the
departmental chair, an appeal may be made to the
appeals board of the college offering the course.
  • General Exam, Thesis, Dissertation
  • The Graduate College hears all appeals involving
    qualifying examinations, comprehensive
    examinations, general examinations, 5980 (thesis)
    or (6980) dissertation courses and/or
disagreements that may jeopardize the continued
enrollment of the student in the Graduate College
or graduate program, and other matters of
controversy not specifically covered in the
    Student Handbook.

ideas of another as one's own

any information or citation in an academic
    exercise
