Aquaponics

• The fun, easy, organic way to grow fruits and
  vegetables using only 1/10th the water needed for
  traditional soil gardening
• No weeding, bending, digging or back breaking
  toil
• Grow vegetables at an accelerated rate!
• Raise fish for consumption (tilapia) or display
  (koi, goldfish)

What is It?

• It is a recirculating system
• Nutrient rich water from a fish pond or tank is
  pumped to grow beds containing soil-less medium
• Bacteria in the grow medium convert the fish
  waste to nutrients consumed by the plants
• The water returns to the fish clean and crystal
  clear

How Does it Work?

• It is a miniature balanced ecosystem
• The number of fish determines the number of
  plants and vice versa
• The grow beds act like a filter for the fish pond
• The fish create waste that constantly feed the
  plants with a low concentration of high quality
  fertilizer in water

• Is fresh, organic fruits and vegetables
• No herbicides or pesticides- they will kill the
  fish
• Once established, all you add is fish food and
  water as it evaporates or is used by the plants
• Just minutes a day and a few short weeks before
  you are harvesting your own abundant crops!
