James Kauff is an alumnus of Adelphi University
and he attained his Master's Degree in Social
Work in 1987 from this University. Apart from
this, he also holds a Psychology Degree and
Communication Arts Degree and has a huge
portfolio of experience in counseling couples,
families and individuals. In addition to this, he
offers psychotherapy to clients suffering from
various types of psychological disorders
including depression, anxiety, eating disorders,
stress, addictions, substance abuse and more.
James is deeply interested in working with
children of single parent families and geriatric
clients. James Kauff has honed his skills working
in many areas of the mental health field
including 17 years at the North Star Centre.

He not only has brilliant communication skills
but also displays effective leadership qualities
in the areas of individual and family group
therapies and rehabilitation therapy. James
develops trusting relationships with his clients
and also offers extensive training of elderly
clients in social skills and activities
associated with daily living. In addition to
this, he also planned and then implemented
different recreational programs along with
socialization programs for rehabilitation.
Presently, he offers individual, couples, family
and group therapy. James Kauff is a Florida
Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works at The
North Star Centre located at Boca Raton, FL.He is
educated, articulate, motivated, enthusiastic and
deals well with people.

He is a member of the National Association of
Social Workers and for more than 30 years, he has
been contributing to the mental health care
field. He was employed by Big Brothers and Big
Sisters and he volunteers for the American
Cancer Society. The society was established by
15 businessmen and physicians in NYC in 1913. Its
main office is situated at the American Cancer
Society Center located in Atlanta, Georgia. He
enjoys most sports especially Baseball,
Basketball and Tennis. James Kauff also has
experience in the area of sports reporting for a
major cable outlet.
