Why do EMS?
  • Executive Order 13148 - Requires all Federal
    Agencies to implement an environmental management
    system (EMS) at appropriate facilities by 31 Dec
    2005.
  • DOD Policy Memorandum (5 Apr 2002) - , Requires
    Military Services and DOD Agencies to implement
    EMS per Executive Order 13148.
