Criticism Can Be A Blessing In Disguise

• Teen counseling Chattanooga believes that
  children offer the most valuable criticism since
  they see us at our most unguarded and vulnerable.
  We can learn some awe-inspiring truth about
  ourselves if we as parents are able to drop our
  authority roles and our belief that we know
  better being older or wiser. This way, we can
  also teach valuable skills to our children as
  they grow up by modeling the art of accepting
  criticism. We should keep in mind that we accept
  only those criticisms which we find are genuine
  and don't pay heed to the self-appointed
  critic-at-large. It's better to ignore remarks
  which are critic venting general frustration,
  anger or bitterness at something over which we
  don't have any control.
