What are Seasons?

• There are four different seasons that change in
  the same pattern every year.
• Seasons cause it to be hot, cold, or warm
  outside.
• Seasons change when the sun changes location -
  the closer the sun, the hotter it is.

Winter

• Winter starts in November and ends in March.
• Winter is cold.
• There is snow, wind and ice.
• In the winter we can slide on the snow and ice
  skate on ponds.

Spring

• Spring starts in March and ends in June.
• Spring is warm.
• Flowers start to bloom, insects start to come
  out, and birds start singing.

Summer

• Summer starts in June and ends in September.
• Summer is very hot!
• In the summer we can swim and play outside all
  day!

Fall

• Fall starts in Septemeber and ends in Novemeber.
• Fall is cool.
• The leaves start to fall off the trees and
  pumpkins grow.
