Biography Book Report

• It is time for you to write a book report. You
  are to choose one person from history that you
  would like to learn about. The person can be a
  sports figure, a political leader, an inventor,
  an artist, an author, a founder of an
  organization, etc. However, I would prefer if the
  person that you choose is not an actor unless
  they are famous for another reason (i.e.
  President Ronald Regan and Governor Arnold
  Schwarzenegger). Follow these steps to complete
  your report
• When you decide who you would like to learn more
  about, find a biography on this person. You may
  use the school library or other libraries for
  resources.
• Take notes on the early years, adulthood, and
  final years of that persons life. Get as much
  detail as you can. This includes achievements,
  struggles, or any other major developments.
• Using your notes, write a biography on your
  famous person (please be sure to include
  pictures). You need to complete a
• 1. Cover - includes the title of your book and
  the

• 2. Dedication page - who you are
  dedicating your
• book to
• 3. A multiple paragraph report on
  your famous
• person
• 4. A small paragraph telling
  about you and why this person interests
  you

• The final part of the project will be to dress up
  as your famous person and give a presentation to
  the class as that person. Be prepared to speak in
  the first person (I, me, my, etc.) telling the
  class about your life and be able to answer
  questions from your classmates.
• Take your time and do a good job! Do not wait
  until the last minute to complete this
  assignment. All reports and presentations are due
  Friday, October 31. You will be graded on your
  report and your presentation (see attached). Any
  part that is not completed by the due date will
  lose one grade each day it is late. Please ask if
