• Col 318 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as
  is fitting in the Lord.
• Eph 522 Wives, be subject to your own husbands,
  as to the Lord.
• Eph 524 But as the church is subject to Christ,
  so also the wives ought to be to their husbands
  in everything.
• Eph 533 adds respect which in the Greek is the
  term phoebe meaning, to treat with reverence,
  veneration, or deference.

• 1 Cor 1111-12 However, in the Lord, neither is
  woman independent of man, nor is man independent
  of woman. For as the woman originates from the
  man, so also the man has his birth through the
  woman and all things originate from God.

• In other words, when what the world observes of
  Christian women, wives specifically, does not
  line up with this, Gods word is dishonored.
