• 1997 - MWR Customer Survey identified O.R. as one
  of the 5 most important services to be
  offered by Navy MWR
• August, 1998 - Ed Dunning developed the Regional
  Outdoor Recreation Test Site
  Proposal
• August, 1998 - Dam Neck was selected as the
  location for the pilot program
• March, 1999 - Hiring for the Regional OAC was
  conducted
• April, 1999 - The Regional OAC began operations
