Life Cycle

• It covers the time you are born, growing up,
  and being an adult.

Eggs

• The adult female and male frogs lay their eggs in
  the water.
• The eggs float to the surface of the water to
  keep warm by the sun.

Tadpole

Tadpole

• After 10 days the egg will hatch into a tadpole.
• The tadpole breaths through gills like a fish and
  swims around.
• At this point it eats algae with its tiny row of
  teeth.

• After 4 weeks the tadpoles gills begin to be
  grown over by skin.
• After 6 weeks the tadpole beings to grow tiny
  legs.
• It also begins to eat tiny insects.
• After nine weeks the tadpole begins to look like
  a tiny frog.

• After 12 weeks they tiny frog starts to lose its
  tail.
• Also it begins to leave the water to live on land.

• After 12 weeks the frogs tail is completely gone.
• It now will live the remainder of its life on
  land and start the cycle back over.

Facts

• Frogs eat insects that they use their longs
  tongues to eat.
• Each frog can lay up to 4,000 eggs.
