- Background ( The past )
- Physiotherapist initiative acted as catalyst
(1998) - CRAG funded project to establish networks for
AHP professions across Scotland (2001) - Decision to target five largest professions which
make up 78(over 7,000) of all AHP - OT,PT,SLT,Diet,Pod
- Steering Group established to take project forward
3Project Aims
- To develop, implement and evaluate
multidisciplinary AHP support mechanisms for the
successful implementation of Clinical
Effectiveness throughout Scotland - Evaluate AHP activity in relation to clinical
guidelines - Identify and deliver AHP generic CE training
- Share good practice nationally and worldwide
