Program Effectiveness Review (PER)
  • To be completed by Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4
    intervention
  • Team with a minimum of six (6) members
  • Team must include CTE district or campus
    administrator, Parent of CTE student, CTE
    teacher, CTE student(s), Guidance Counselor, and
    Community stakeholders
  • Identify strengths
  • Address areas for improvement if requirement is
    not being met
  • Report noncompliance on CIP

Focused Data Analysis (FDA)
  • To be completed by Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4
    intervention
  • Team with a minimum of six (6) members (same
    members used for PER)
  • Complete FDA for all indicators rated 2 or 3
  • Consider accuracy of indicators rated ND
  • Indicators of 1 or NE may be addressed but are
    not required

  • Results and findings will be reported on
    individual PBMAS indicator templates
  • Describe issues and findings as determined by the
    FDA team
  • Describe and/or list the data sources used in
    completing the FDAqualitative and quantitative
  • FDA probes are provided as guides they are not
    all-inclusive
  • Not required to utilize probes that are
    inapplicable

FDA and PER
  • LEA is responsible for maintaining documentation,
    at the local level, of the PER and FDA
  • For data inaccuracy the team must report how
    accurate data was collected for review, provide
    any new data, and detail the impact of the
    revised data on the review
  • Consider how data quality issues can be
    remediedinclude in the CIP

Full Compliance Review
  • To be completed by Stage 3 and Stage 4
    intervention
  • Team of at least 6 members (same as FDA and PER
    team)
  • Complete a full compliance review for all
    indicators in the Full Compliance Review template
  • Review the requirements
  • Determine whether the district is in compliance
    and/or whether student-specific documentation
    supports compliance for each indicator
  • Review staff certification data and compliance
    with SBEC
  • Report on final page of Compliance Review
    template

  • Column Bindicate type and number of documents
    reviewed
  • Column Cindicate the number of reviewed items
    found in noncompliance
  • Column D(as appropriate) the percentage of

    and the basis for how the noncompliance was
    identified if noncompliance is identified in
    multiple areas, note all applicable areas

Continuous Improvement Plan
  • An integrated CIP is required for Intervention
    Stage 2, Stage 3, and Stage 4
  • Submit only one CIP to TEA
  • Use the CTE CIP team to review all
    findings/issues
  • Strive for a thorough and holistic understanding
    of the core concerns reflected in the
    findings/issues identified
  • Address all findings/issues identified through
    any component of the CTE monitoring process
  • Bring any issues into compliance in a timely
    fashion
