Poverty
Poverty is everywhere. Poverty is a condition
in which a person or community is deprived of, or
lacks the essentials for a minimum standard of
well-being and life. Many people have poverty.
They do not have most of the things they deserve
and need.

• almost nothing they are still ?
• smiling.

Where Poverty is in the World

• Poverty is all over the world and most of the
  time people dont see it. Some places it is worse
  then others. Poverty is in your city and state.
  You find people in poverty in homeless shelters,
  on the streets, and sometimes in hospitals.

How can we help?

• Many people just put poverty aside and dont
  think about it. But when they see these people
  that have nothing, they start to realize that I
  need to help. If everyone gives just 6-8 a
  month it would help a lot of people survive. So
  you can help by just putting in a couple dollars
  a month and it would make the world a better
  place.

Facts about Poverty

• Nearly three billion people live on about two
  dollars a day.
• Nearly one billion people entered the 21st
  century unable to read a book or right their
  name.
• 1 of 2 children live in poverty. 640 million
  people live without adequate shelter. 400 million
  have no access to safe water. 270 million people
  have no access to heath service. 10.6 million
  people died in 2003 before they reached the age
  of 5.

• Close to half the people living in poverty suffer
  at any time caused by water and sanitation
  deficits.
• Women spend most of their day collecting water.
• There are 2.2 billion children in the world and 1
  billion live in poverty.

poverty and die sometimes from the water they

that are very small and can only fit a few
