General overview
  • Orenair - is a company with a dynamic
    development, whose history started as back as
    1932 (in August 28, 2007 it will be 75 years as
    our Orenburg Enterprise is working in the market
    of air transportation).
  • For January October 2006 in rating of
    185 Russian airlines, Orenair stands 19th
    according to the density of passenger traffic and
    13th according to the international traffic.
  • More than once it gained the lead in
    Russian contest Wings of Russia as Domestic
    Passenger carrier of Russia and Participant in
    servicing of different branches of Russian
    economy.

  • At the moment Orenair provides the
    following service package
  • Passenger, baggage and cargo transportation on
    international and domestic, regular and charter
    flights
  • Airport handling of Orenair and transit flights,
    providing with all complex of services, including
    AC fuel filling and maintenance
  • Servicing of economy branches of Russia,
    including aviation-chemical works
  • Search and rescue flights in airports of
    Orenburg and Orsk
  • Operations in UN mission

History

  • 1932 1940 beginning of the activity, scope of
    works includes agricultural works, ambulance
    aviation and mail traffic, service of a transit
    line Moscow Tashkent, the airport is situated
    on the outskirts of the town
  • 1941 1945 The Great Patriotic War interrupts
    the development of civil aviation in the Orenburg
    region. But the airport is still operating the
    aircraft continue to arrive and to depart.
  • 1946 1950 PO-2 airplanes continue operating
    on air ways serving the most remote corners of
    the Orenburg region. The development of special
    purpose aviation

  • 1951 1955 the airport completely transferres
    its base to the area of Nezhinka village opening
    of the city agency of Privolzhsk civil aviation
    department on July 10, at the 42, Sovetskaya
    street. Massive cultivation of virgin and

    of AN-24, Tu-134 airplanes from the new airport
    "Tsentralny". Regular passenger flights of Tu-154
    airplane.

  • 1978 flights of Tu-134 airplanes are carried
    out by the Orenburg flight crews. The commitment
    to the airport Tsentralny the certificate of the
    1st category according to the requirements of
    International Civil Aviation (ICAO)
  • 1989 start-up of the new airport in Orsk
  • 1990 regular flights of the Orenburg flight
    crews of Tu-154 airplanes
  • 1991 international flights carried out by the

    opening of air agencies in Aktobe, Kazakhstan

    international airport, opening of Orenburg
    Airlines air agencies in Moscow, Khabarovsk,
    development of on-board passenger service,
    including business-class service on flights

  • 2000 providing of air travel agencies with
    Sirena-200 booking system, an airport's own
    booking center is formed, opening of the air
    agency in Aksay, Kazakhstan
  • 2004 introduction of the flight schedule on the
    basis of the Hub-airport Orenburg
  • 2005 development of the project concerning
    renewal of ORENAIR aircraft fleet on the basis of
    western aircrafts such as Boeing 737-400, Boeing
    737-500 in amount of 10 aircrafts. In 2005 the
    Lease Agreement for the operational lease of 2 AC
    Boeing 737-400 was executed with the Lessor GECAS
    for delivery of the first AC in February (Start
    of operation in April 2006) and the second AC
    in May 2006 (Start of Operation in June 2006).
    General flight hours during the period of
    operation is 2230 hours. One Boeing 737-500 is
    leased from ILFC in October 2006.

    Aircraft of foreign manufacture in the
    Privolzhskiy and Ural regions.
  • 2006 Rebranding. Rebranding programme, launched
    in 2005, is aimed to consolidate positive changes
    in the company, to impart to ORENAIR new, more
    contemporary, and attractive features. The new
    brand name ORENAIR, reflects the current stage of
    the companys development, gives a new
    perspective on air travel to passengers, offers a
    new level of service based on modern technology,
    and encourages passengers to travel with ORENAIR.

Pilots
  • Pilots qualification meets JAF and FAP
    requirements.
  • Training of the crew for AC Boeing 737-400
    was held in Kiev in the International Aviation
    Training Centre (classroom training). SIMS
    training was held in Stockholm, on the basis of
    SAS Academy, and also in Luftgansa Flight Traning
    Centre in Berlin.
  • Training of the crew for AC Boeing 737-500
    was held in the Training Centre Gecat (England)
    (classroom training and simulator). Flights were
    carried out on the basis of Orenair.

  • Admitted to the flights are 35 pilots,
    including 12 commanders, 23 co-pilots and 5
    authorized pilots.
  • At this moment (from 15th of January 2007)
    10 pilots undergo training on the basis of
    International Aviation Training Centre in Kiev,
    February 12 - the beginning of training for the
    second group of pilots consisting of 8 pilots.
    SIMS training will be held by this group on the
    basis of SAS Academy in Stockholm and Training
    Centre Alteon in London, flights will be
    performed on the basis of Orenair.

Aviatechnical crew
  • Line maintenance, including A-check is
    performed by Maintenance Organization East Line
    Technique at the Domodedovo airport aviation
    maintenance facility. This time the Contract is
    signed and the work is carried out for opening
    the service station for western aircrafts on the
    basis of Orenair, the date for inspection is
    appointed on July 2007.
  • Contracts for C-check, routine repair are
    signed with Air Maintenance Estonia AC, for
    replacement engines with PW (USA) and Snecma
    (Belgium), for spare parts, standards,
    instruments, materials with Boeing Company
    (Corporation of State Delaware), Contract for
    D-check is signed with Aeroplex of Central Europe
    Ltd. (Hungary).
  • As of January 31, 2007 Orenair has 32
    trained technical specialists, including 19
    certified persons (4 specialists of ? category
    and 15 specialists of ? category).

    (2006). There were signed Contracts for
    operationsl leasing of two aircrafts Boeing
    737-500 with GECAS Technical Services Limited as
    the Lessor with the delivery in the following
    terms
