Customer Accomplishments   Professor Geoff
Kneale of the School of Biological Sciences and
Director of the Institute of Biomedical and
Biomolecular Sciences (IBBS) has been appointed
to serve on a prestigious committee of the
Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL), a multi-national
research facility situated in Grenoble (France).
The ILL is the world's leading facility for
neutron science. Fourteen new dental nurses
were the first students to qualify from the
School of Professionals Complementary to
Dentistry - passing the Certificate of Higher
Education in Dental Nursing. The newly qualified
nurses will assist dentists by preparing for
surgery, mixing dental materials and keeping
patient records.
Customer activities and key dates Building
moves School of Health Science and Social Work,
Admin/research staff plus the Expert Centre move
postponed due to sewerage leak in James Watson
move now not likely til at least the summer.
Expert Centre will move into St Michaels as a
temporary measure at beginning of March School of
Health Science and Social Work All academic
centres still on target to move into St.
Michaels in Summer of 2006 Sports and Exercise
Science still on target to move into new building
behind the Nuffield Centre in July 2006
